FFR works closely with plant breeding programs
in the industry to access the best varieties and performance throughout
the Soft Red Winter Wheat production area. Currently wheat is often
referred to as the non-GMO crop, but work is being done by many
technology and germplasm originators to enhance wheat performance and
quality. FFR is in close
contact with these companies to insure the farmer cooperative owners
will be in the strongest market position to evaluate, acquire and
deliver the newest and best advances available to wheat producers.
